What is a Pay Location Code (PLC), and why do I need it?
A Pay Location Code (PLC) is a unique identifier assigned to each payment type for the agencies AllPaid serves. It tells the system exactly what you are paying and where your payment should go.
Your PLC determines:
What obligation you're paying
The information you need to submit with your payment
Where notice of your payment is sent for the agency
Our website has a PLC look-up option. You can search by agency name and filter by city and state to find the correct code for your payment.
Make sure you select the right location
Select the correct Agency Name, State, and Payment Type to avoid delays. Many agencies have more than one PLC, and many agencies have similar names. When in doubt, contact the agency first to confirm you are paying the correct location.
